Job Summary (List Format):

- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for outpatient patients (Ortho, balance, deconditioned, pain, etc.)
- Gather relevant data from patient charts and other caregivers; consult with physicians as needed
- Independently assess all assigned patient types
- Identify and recognize additional patient needs during evaluation; exercise sound judgment in decision-making for further testing or interventions
- Interpret assessment results and develop measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals
- Regularly reassess patient progress according to department and regulatory policies or as needed
- Identify appropriate therapy equipment, communicate recommendations to patients and families
- Adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act regarding care, supplies, equipment, and interventions
- Maintain professional and clinical requirements including a Bachelor's degree (Doctorate preferred), valid LPT license (TX or compact), and current AHA BLS certification
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
