Description

Job Summary: Outpatient Infusion RN

Provides nursing care in an Outpatient Infusion Unit setting
Administers chemotherapy and infusion therapies to adult and geriatric patients
Delivers care for patients with oncology, neurological, anemia, GI, and other diagnoses
Utilizes EPIC for documentation and Omnicell for medication management
Operates Alaris infusion pumps, elastomeric pumps, glucometers, and related equipment
Safely administers blood products and monitors for reactions
Maintains required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy certification
Minimum one year of experience in outpatient infusion required
Demonstrates ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
May float to other areas as needed within scope of practice
Adheres to facility’s local and travel nurse policies (75-mile radius rule applies)

Med Ninjas Job ID #15963. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
