Description

Job Summary for RN – ER/MS | Days | Sabetha, KS

- Provide direct patient care in both Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (MS) settings at a small rural facility.
- Work 12-hour day shifts (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM), totaling 36 hours per week.
- Participate in every 3rd weekend rotation as part of the regular schedule.
- Responsible for managing both inpatient and ER patients, sharing workload with other nursing staff.
- Collaborate with a small team, typically 3 nurses and 1 CNA per shift (may vary).
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care processes.
- Maintain required active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (all AHA), and TNCC.
- Wear any color scrubs; mask required during flu season if flu vaccine declined.
- Must have recent, clearly documented ER and MS experience.
- Crisis nurse support is available for high-acuity or high-volume situations.
- Report directly to and interview with the Director of Nursing (DON) for hiring.
- Start date is ASAP as a backfill position.

Med Ninjas Job ID #16246. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
