Description
- Position: Long Term Care LVN/LPN (Traveler)
- Location: Alaska (facility provides shuttle from Anchorage and local transportation)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks (traveler’s choice)
- Shifts: 4x12 hour shifts, variable days or nights (not rotating, but based on facility needs)
- Patient Ratios: 1:20
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year as LVN/LPN in LTC; previous travel experience required
- Certifications Required: Active Alaska LVN/LPN license; BLS; Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained onsite during orientation)
- Skills Required: Long Term Care experience
- First Time Travelers: Not accepted
- On-call Required: No
- Floating: Yes, within scope, to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Must be able/willing to work at least 2 of 3 major winter holidays
- Other Notes:
- Alaska Food Worker Certification required (obtain onsite, $10 fee)
- Facility will arrange shuttle transportation at start/end of contract and for local needs
- Not a teaching/magnet/trauma facility
