Description

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Ithaca, NY
Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Extension: Possible extension

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic 2D and M-Mode echocardiographic procedures under physician supervision.
Conduct, monitor, and document stress echocardiograms.
Accurately document test results and communicate relevant findings to appropriate medical staff.
Hook up, disconnect, and download data from Holter monitors.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot echocardiography and Holter monitoring equipment.
Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort during all procedures.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Current BLS certification.
Current certification as either:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS, or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.
Demonstrated competency in diagnostic echocardiography and cardiac monitoring procedures.

Med Ninjas Job ID #16909. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
