Description

Job Summary – NICU RN (SMMC NICU, Level III)

- Provide nursing care in a Level III NICU (190 births/month)
- Care for critically ill neonates and support families
- May float to Mother-Baby unit for babies (and fully, if couplet care experience)
- No on-call required
- Every other weekend required (may exceed depending on unit needs)
- 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
- Accepting first-time travel nurses
- All time-off requests must be submitted at application; approval based on facility need
- Facility may cancel one shift every two weeks
- Required Certifications: BCLS, NRP, PALS
- Must wear navy blue scrubs
- Charting system: Epic
- Free parking available
- Local candidates within 50 miles must inquire about local rate
- Block scheduling not available
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment not considered

Med Ninjas Job ID #17034. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
