Description

RN – Cath Lab

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Schedule: 5*8 Days Shifts
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: Minimum 5 year of Cath Lab experience

Responsibilities

Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for Cath Lab patients.
Monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Assist with PCI, cardiac catheterization, stent placement, balloon angioplasty, CTO, Impella, IABP, laser, and rotational atherectomy procedures.
Support TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, and Watchman/LAA closure procedures.
Assist with electrophysiology procedures, including EPS, AFib/Flutter ablations, and BiV pacemaker implants.
Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
Administer medications and moderate sedation according to facility protocols.
Monitor hemodynamic status and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
Maintain sterile technique and follow Cath Lab safety protocols.
Assist with emergency interventions and patient stabilization.
Accurately document patient care and procedures in Epic.

Required Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
Cath Lab experience required

Med Ninjas Job ID #17222. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
