Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / PCU
Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Total Staffed Beds: 629
Teaching Hospital
EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Specialty: Stepdown / PCU
- Hard Stop: Cardiac drip experience is required
- Must have experience titrating and managing cardiac drips
- Patient Ratios: 1:4–5
- 48 Hours: Yes, approved
Schedule
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Block Schedule: No
- On-Call: No
- Floating: Yes — if overstaffed, travelers are the first to float to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors
