Description

RN – Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum
Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks — traveler’s choice
Schedule: 3×12s or 4×12s — traveler’s choice

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
2+ years of high-acuity Postpartum experience
First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirements
Must be able to manage high-risk OB patients and handle census surges
Must be comfortable managing a 4th couplet when needed
4 couplets is standard
Candidates with less than 2 years of experience should not be submitted

Hard-Stop Requirements

High-risk Obstetric experience
Magnesium experience
EPIC experience
Experience with Pitocin
Experience with Foley catheter management
Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) experience
Substance withdrawal experience

Preferred: JADA device experience

Certifications Required

BLS
NRP

Floating Requirements

Float is required, including:

Issaquah Campus – Postpartum
Edmonds Campus – Postpartum
Labor & Delivery – 2nd hour of recovery

Weekend Requirement

6 weekend days per contract

Med Ninjas Job ID #17375. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
