Job Summary (List Format): 
 
- Develops and implements treatment plans to improve patients’ swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to reduce aspiration risks. 
- Utilizes various communication techniques to help patients both understand others and express themselves more clearly. 
- Leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services within the facility. 
- Ensures all services are provided in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. 
- Provides appropriate care and services to residents of Oakland Manor Nursing Center. 
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) experience. 
- Must hold a Texas SLP license or be eligible through a compact license. 
- Works in a medium-sized, hospital district-owned, short-term rehabilitation facility with 102 beds in Giddings, TX.
