Job Summary (List Format):
1. Job Title: Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (Travel)
2. Location: Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, New Hampshire
3. Department: Emergency Department (20 beds, newly renovated; Trauma Level III)
4. Patient Population: Newborn to Geriatric
5. Annual Volume: 26,000+ visits per year
6. Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5
7. EMR: EPIC
8. Dress Code: Professional scrubs (no logos; provided by traveler)
9. Holiday Requirements:
- Must work 2 of the following holiday blocks, if scheduled/needed:
- Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and following weekend
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and following weekend
10. Schedule: No block scheduling or joint assignments with other positions allowed; no schedule accommodations after submission
11. Orientation: No billable orientation
12. Call: 4.00
13. Time Off: No more than 5 days RTO (requested at submission only; none accepted after)
14. Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years current ED RN experience
- At least 3 months prior travel nurse experience
- Comfortable with drips and vents
- EPIC experience
15. Education: BSN preferred
16. Licensure/Certifications:
- Active NH or compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
- NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required at submission)
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or Red Cross)
17. Submission Requirements:
- Complete work history
- Home address in profile
- All compliance documents uploaded within 5 days of offer
- No local travelers (must reside >50 miles from facility)
- Traveler must have own vehicle
18. Teamwork & Communication:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to stressful situations
- Strong collaboration with EMS, ED, and in-hospital staff
19. Travel Pairs: Considered if both can work different shifts and have separate transportation
20. Facility Info:
- 169-bed regional referral center, partnered with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene
- Located in a scenic area with ample outdoor recreation opportunities (hiking, skiing, covered bridges)

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art ED at a regional referral center. Must be experienced, adaptable, and able to commit to holiday and scheduling requirements. Compliance and licensure documentation must be complete and submitted promptly.
