Description
- Position: ICU Float Pool RN
- Start Dates Accepted: 11/2, 11/16, or 12/2 - # of Positions: 11
- Facility Type: 400+ bed hospital
- Unit Coverage: ICU Float Pool (will also float to MS/Tele/PCU/Overflow, Stepdown, and Overflow PACU units as needed)
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience
- Experience with PA Line/Swan Ganz required
- Large hospital experience required
- Certifications Required:
- Active CA RN license (no pending licenses)
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH
- First Time Travelers: Accepted
- Flu Vaccine: Mandatory (no declinations accepted)
- Shift: 1900-0730 (night shift), 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Floating Requirement: Yes (core responsibility of position)
- Other Requirements:
- EKG exam must be passed on first day of orientation to proceed
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated (maximum 7 days off, no RTO in first 2 weeks)
- Must work 3 out of 5 holidays
- Interview/Screening: PA Line/Swan Ganz experience will be assessed during phone interview and with checklist
