- Vascular surgeries (Aortic aneurysm repair, Carotid interventions, Endovascular repairs, Femoral popliteal bypass, Renal artery bypass, Vein stripping)
- Thoracic surgeries (Lobe/lung resection, Thoracotomy, VATS, Mediastinoscopy)
- ENT procedures (Endoscopic sinus, Laryngectomy, Neck dissection, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Tonsillectomy, Tracheostomy, Bronchoscopy)
- Gastrointestinal procedures (Colonoscopy, PEG tube, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair)
- Breast and endocrine surgeries (Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy, Whipple)
- GYN procedures (Hysterectomy, Colporrhaphy, Tubal ligation, D&C, Laparoscopic GYN, Therapeutic abortion, Vulvectomy)
- Neurosurgery/Spine (ALIF, cervical/lumbar fusions, Craniotomy, VP shunt, Laminectomy/discectomy, XLIF)
- Orthopedic procedures (ACL reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Fracture reduction, Joint replacement, Spine surgeries)
- Plastic surgeries (Abdominoplasty, Breast augmentation, Fat grafting, Free flap, Mastectomy with TRAM flap)
- Podiatry surgeries (Ankle fusion, Bunionectomy, Hallux vagus, Metatarsal surgery)
- Urology (Cystectomy, Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, TURP)
- Amputations
- Pediatric ENT (Myringotomy, Tonsillectomy/adenoids)
- Use of Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
- Circumcision
- General Responsibilities:
- Code response
- Fire, laser, and radiation safety
- Infection control
- Specimen handling/labeling
- Adherence to Universal Protocol (time out) procedures
- Urinary bladder catheterization
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Phlebotomy and IV placement (mandatory for all RNs)
- Latex allergy precautions
- Special Unit Requirements:
- Experience required in ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, and vascular/thoracic surgeries
- Additional Details:
- Block scheduling may be accommodated (not guaranteed)
- Local candidates NOT accepted (must be >75 miles away)
- No pending license accepted
- Minimal RTO (Requested Time Off) preferred
- Call required
- Minimum 3 years of experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Not accepting first-time travelers
- Scrub color: Teal

Med Ninjas Job ID #18603. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
