Description
- Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (06:30-17:00); must take at least 10 call shifts per month (call is 17:00-06:30)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Average Surgical Case Volume: 55 cases daily
- Weekend Requirement: 1-2 weekends per month
- Experience Required: 1 year; first-timers accepted
- Call Requirement: Minimum 10 call shifts per month (after regular hours)
- Certifications Required: BLS, WA License (NBSTSA preferred; pending license accepted)
- Surgical Specialties Required: General, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Laparoscopic
- Surgical Specialties Preferred: OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Urology, Robotic, Ortho/Total Joints, Neuro/Crani, Transplant
- Procedures Involved: CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve, VATS, mediastinoscopy, RATS, CVL support (carotid cutdowns, laser lead standby)
- Endoscope Reprocessing: Flexible endoscope reprocessing required; preferred with bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS
- Primary Skills: Singular scrub for cardiothoracic cases; must also float to general OR
- Traits Needed: Quick learner; willing to assist and support learning
- Floating: Will not float between like units; may float to general OR
- Facility Details: Level II Trauma Center; 571 staffed beds; uses EPIC charting; any scrub color except reddish orange; facility-paid parking
