Job Summary: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Adult)

- Position: Registered Nurse – ER (Adult), Rochester General Hospital
- Schedule: 7p-7a (alternating 11a-11p), 13-week contract, every other weekend & holiday required
- Charting System: EPIC (experience required)
- License/Certifications:
- Active NY State RN license (no pending licenses, not a compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be current at submission)
- Clinical Skills Required:
- IV therapy (including blood products, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs)
- Administration of IV vasopressors
- Ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP
- Cardiac monitoring (dysrhythmia interpretation/management)
- Management of CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord & TBI patients
- Emergency care for adults/pediatrics, trauma (gunshot wounds, ortho trauma)
- Isolation precautions, triage, pediatric spinal cord injury
- Unit Details:
- Patient ratio: 1:5 (adults, geriatrics, all emergency diagnoses)
- Special equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment
- Floating required within skillset
- Scrub colors: Any combination of navy blue and white

- Call-off policy: Up to 3 shifts may be canceled per contract by the client
