Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Requires certificate of completion from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Must hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Must complete IDPH Fingerprinting.
- Requires at least 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist.
- Independently scrubs and assists with basic surgical procedures.
- Effectively solves problems related to surgical procedures.
- Utilizes foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, microbiology, and pharmacology for patient care.
- Applies basic understanding of electricity, chemistry, computers, robotics, and lasers in the surgical setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of patient care concepts and works collaboratively within the perioperative team.
- Consistently applies principles of sterile technique during all surgical procedures.

Med Ninjas Job ID #18842. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
