Description

Job Summary for L&D RN (Req 104280):

- Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Bed Capacity: 629 staffed beds
- Teaching Hospital: Yes
- Floating: Required between units
- On-call: Not required
- Weekend Shifts: Some weekends required
- Block Schedules: Not required
- Patient Ratios:
- Labor: 1 nurse to 2 patients
- Antepartum (AP): 1 nurse to 3 patients
- Special Requirements:
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery
- Care for antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC
- Active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation
- Respond to maternal emergencies
- Hours: 48-hour work weeks approved
- Scrub Color: RN: Any color (L&D: Not specified)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: No fee

Note: Must have acute care experience in high-risk labor and delivery settings.

Med Ninjas Job ID #18867. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
