Description

A telemetry nurse is a specialized registered nurse who constantly tracks a patient's vital signs and heart rhythms using automated monitoring equipment like EKGs. They care for acutely ill patients—often stepping down from intensive care—who need close observation for heart disease or other serious conditions Submission Requirements

About the Facility McLaren Greater Lansing is a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds, located in Lansing, Michigan. This medical center is home to cardiac programs; state-of-the-art clinical centers for oncology and women and children’s health; medical/surgical units; and a full-service pharmacy.

Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.

Med Ninjas Job ID #18985. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
