Description

Job Summary:

Location Requirement: Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility (verified by driver’s license); locals not accepted.
Holiday Requirement: Contractors must be available to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays (both Summer and Winter, unless the unit is closed).
Bed Size: 2 procedure, 3 pre/post bays
Ratios: 1:3 nurse to patient
Patient Types: Non-invasive cardiology procedures (TEE, cardioversions, stress testing, pre/post and procedural care)
Minimum 24 months experience in pre/post op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting required
First-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years’ experience
Required experience: pre/post op, EPIC EMR, TEE, and cardioversion
Preferred: Stress testing experience
Valid driver’s license required
Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements: Iowa RN license (compact allowed)
EMR Used: EPIC

Med Ninjas Job ID #19281. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
