Job Summary (List Format):

- Role: Interdisciplinary team member providing and managing patient care as a traveler clinician.
- Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional clinical care to patients.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation.
- May take on Charge/Precept roles as needed.
- Work Hours & Compensation:
- Contracts available for 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Overtime billable after 40 hours (36 hr contract) or after 48 hours (48 hr contract).
- OT/Holiday pay at 1.15x; Call back at 1.5x with 2-hour minimum; On Call $9/hr; Charge/Precept $6/hr.
- Orientation Dates:
- 05/04 and 05/18
- Contract Lengths:
- 8, 10, or 13 weeks.
- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience.
- At least 1 completed travel contract.
- EPIC EMR experience.
- State nursing license (Illinois or Iowa; compact allowed).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (AHA required).
- Experience with critical/emergency infusions (pressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation).
- Not employed by UnityPoint in the last 12 months.
- Open to variable start times (1200, 1100, or 1000).
- Must have taxable address outside 50 miles from facility (except Madison, with a 10% rate reduction for locals).
- Required Submission Documents:
- Driver’s license.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist (completed within 1 year).
- License verification.
- Copies of required certifications.
- 1 supervisory reference.
- Facility Locations:
- Various trauma centers (Level 1-4) in Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf, Fort Dodge, Moline, Muscatine, and Rock Island.
