Description

Job Summary (List Format):

- Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for surgery
- Ensure a sterile environment and maintain aseptic techniques
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
- Account for surgical instruments, sponges, and other materials
- Help with patient preparation before surgery and transfer to recovery after the procedure
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and supplies used
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members
Requirements: -1+ years of surgical tech experience. Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO) Required Certifications & Licensure:
-BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
-IDPH Fingerprinting

Med Ninjas Job ID #19436. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
