Job Summary:
- Provide advanced and comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and neonatal patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret fetal monitoring strips (FHM).
- Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies utilizing ACLS and NRP protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with AWHONN Intermediate standards.
- Perform advanced life support interventions as needed (ACLS, BLS).
- Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and neonatal care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP.
