RN ICU – Job Details|:

Shift: Night Shift, 3 × 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, depending on patient acuity.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Every other weekend required.

• On-call required. The RN must be able to report to work within 45 minutes.

• Block scheduling is not available.

• 48-hour schedules are not approved.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating between units is required based on patient census and facility needs.

• When ICU census decreases, the traveler may float to other departments or units based on their skill set if they are not placed on call.

• AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other facilities within the Providence Health & Services (PH&S) network.

Floating Facilities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.

Seaside Floating Incentives:

• An additional $5/hour for hours worked at Seaside, on top of IRS mileage reimbursement.

• Hotel accommodation may be offered for consecutive shifts.

• The facility will provide as much advance notice as possible for Seaside assignments.

Important Requirement: The traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
