Description
Travel RN – Oncology | Peoria, IL:
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Hours: 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts On-Call: None
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

Valid Illinois RN License in good standing.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
-
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.

BSN preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients using the nursing process.

Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.

Implement nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures according to unit standards.

Continuously evaluate patient conditions and modify care plans as needed.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care.
-
Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and reporting hazards and incidents.
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
-
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
-
Participate in departmental competency requirements and ongoing professional development.
