Description

Job Summary (List Format):

- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Must demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality for all assigned shifts.
- Proficiency with cardiac medications (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex), including titration and application.
- Competency in telemetry and thorough knowledge of heart rhythms.
- Strong critical thinking skills; ability to recognize and appropriately respond to changes in patient status.
- Ability to identify signs and symptoms of stroke, and intervene as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have an active Ohio RN or Compact RN license.
- Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Completion of a skills checklist (current within 1 year) relevant to Med Surg/Telemetry.
- Must provide documented work history.
- Local traveler policy applies to candidates residing within 45 miles of the facility (8% rate reduction).

Med Ninjas Job ID #19986. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
