Description

Job Summary :

Position: RN PCU
Facility: Emory University Hospital – Atlanta, GA
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts
Travel Requirement: No local travelers within 50 miles
Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent cardiac/PCU experience
Required: Strong cardiac/telemetry experience, EPIC, chest tube experience, and cardiac drips
Cardiac Drips: Insulin, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, and Nitroglycerin
Patient Ratio: 1:4–1:5; high-acuity cardiac patients
Preferred: Heart transplant and LVAD experience
Testing: Must independently interpret rhythms and pass a proctored dysrhythmia exam on the first attempt
Common Patients: CHF, A-Fib, A-Flutter, SVT, VTach, chest pain, HTN, FVO, heart transplant, congenital heart disease, and LVAD
Procedures: Cardiac caths, stents, valve replacements, pacemakers/ICDs, cardioversions, ablations, and STEMI/NSTEMI care
Floating: May float to similar cardiac/PCU units as needed

Med Ninjas Job ID #445. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
