Description

Job Summary:-

Assignment Location: Phoenix Children's Hospital; may float between Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley campuses.
Unit: Critical Care Float Pool; will float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU.
Assignment Dates: 9/28/26 to 3/27/27.
Shifts: 7a–7p (days) or 7p–7a (nights); shift determined during interview.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health.
Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to patient age and condition.
Follow evidence-based nursing and patient care standards, medical plans, hospital goals, and regulatory standards.

Compliance:

Assignment managed in ShiftWise Flex; all compliance, billing, and management through this platform.
COVID-19 vaccination recommended (not required).
Flu vaccination required Oct–April (exemptions must be pre-approved).
Unvaccinated staff must sign agreements and wear masks during respiratory season.

- Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years as RN in pediatric critical care.
Level III or IV NICU experience preferred.
Experience in a children’s hospital preferred.

Education Required:

ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing.

Licensure/Certifications:

Active Arizona RN license or compact state RN license with multistate privileges (or ability to obtain).
Current BLS (AHA) certification.
Current PALS (AHA) certification.
Current Advanced NRP certification.

Other Details:

Only RTO (Requested Time Off) discussed in interview will be pre-approved.
