Description

Job Summary:-
  • Assignment Location: Phoenix Children's Hospital; may float between Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley campuses.
     
  • Unit: Critical Care Float Pool; will float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU.
     
  • Assignment Dates: 9/28/26 to 3/27/27.
     
  • Shifts: 7a–7p (days) or 7p–7a (nights); shift determined during interview.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health.
     
  • Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to patient age and condition.
     
  • Follow evidence-based nursing and patient care standards, medical plans, hospital goals, and regulatory standards.
Compliance:
  • Assignment managed in ShiftWise Flex; all compliance, billing, and management through this platform.
     
  • COVID-19 vaccination recommended (not required).
     
  • Flu vaccination required Oct–April (exemptions must be pre-approved).
     
  • Unvaccinated staff must sign agreements and wear masks during respiratory season.
- Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years as RN in pediatric critical care.
     
  • Level III or IV NICU experience preferred.
     
  • Experience in a children’s hospital preferred.
Education Required:
  • ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing.
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active Arizona RN license or compact state RN license with multistate privileges (or ability to obtain).
     
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
     
  • Current PALS (AHA) certification.
     
  • Current Advanced NRP certification.

  • Only RTO (Requested Time Off) discussed in interview will be pre-approved.
