Job Summary (List Format):

- Provide nursing care in a specialized orthopedic unit focusing on orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses.
- Work as part of a team recognized for research and innovation, offering opportunities for education and professional growth.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Float to different units as needed and work weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback shifts as per unit requirements, including charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
- Required to have at least two years of nursing experience, specifically in orthopedics and telemetry.
- Must hold a current RN license valid in New York State.
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only).
- Use EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred experience within the last year).
- Familiarity with D/E/N (day/evening/night) rotating shifts on inpatient units.
- Must be able to obtain a TB skin test.
- Will be asked about availability, interview scheduling, and any requested time off (RTO).
- Must confirm residence is 50 miles or greater from facility if required.
