Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse) - Travel/Contract

Location

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours per week: 40 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks minimum (new contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks)
Start Date: ASAP
Weekend Requirement: Saturday & Sunday shifts required on 4x10 schedule
Patient Population: Adult and pediatric inpatient acute care
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:25
Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Locals: Not accepted within 100 miles radius
Pending License: Accepted
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week; facility may call off up to 3 times during a 13-week assignment
Return-to-Office Restrictions: Absences greater than 7 days require approval
Block schedule accommodation: No

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Care Manager experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an inpatient setting
Acute care experience

Scrub color: Optional black or business casual
Charting systems: Cerner, Midas/Care Port
Parking: No fee
OT applies after 48 hours on contracts signed on or after 10/30/2025
6-month break required for travelers after 4 consecutive assignments or 1 year of cumulative work, whichever comes first
Facility is not near public transportation; candidates must have reliable transportation arrangements
Fingerprinting is done onsite during orientation; cost is candidate’s responsibility unless exception granted
Candidates must complete a traveler compliance form and review a welcome presentation prior to start
Fit mask testing required within 1 year of start with specific approved mask models; PAPR accommodations available if needed
