Description

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Shift: Day Shift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Unit Details

Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
No call required
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed (may include CNA/Tech role)
No block schedule requests allowed
Holidays: If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler must work it; if 2 holidays, must work both; if 3 holidays, must work 2
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
Locals accepted at same rate
Orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
Full compliance required to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Manager reviews candidate profile within 48 hours of confirmation to determine fit

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers accepted
Floating may include CNA/Tech duties within scope of practice
No call responsibilities
Compliance with facility dress and professional appearance policies required
Candidate must review and sign facility code of conduct prior to start
