Description
Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Tampa, Florida
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month required
On-Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week plus 1 weekend per month on call
Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
Job Description
- Must have hybrid OR experience in endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, aortagram, and peripheral runoffs
- Patient population: Vascular surgical patients undergoing endovascular procedures
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals and candidates with pending state licenses are not accepted
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions apply; verbal manager approval only, cannot be included in contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist within the last year
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with hybrid OR endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, aortagram, and peripheral runoffs
- National Certification: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)
