Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN (Nights)
Location: Mt. Pleasant, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Summary
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans aimed at returning patients to optimal health.
- Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders.
- Delegate and oversee functions of Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, Nursing Clerks, and Psychiatric Technicians.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current AWHONN certification.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
- 12-hour shifts.
