Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights

Location: Mount Clemens, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position involves working in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units with Level 1 experience required.
The facility is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and a busy Emergency Center.
Candidates can expect outreach within two hours after application, with decisions typically made the same or next business day.
Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off, or with negative background/employment history, are not eligible for expedited processing.
New travelers will not be accepted for this position.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Postpartum experience
Nursery experience
Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE certification
- AWHONN certification

Additional Information

Initial shift length is 12 hours.
Local traveler policy applies: candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
Prior travel experience is not accepted for this role (no new travelers).
