RN - Extended Care
Location
Miles City, Montana
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- Skilled Nursing (1 year of experience)
- Skilled Nursing experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Complete holistic, age-specific assessments and nursing plans of care
- Analyze clinical data to develop individualized care plans
- Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse
- Coordinate care and communicate with physicians and the care team
- Administer medications and IVs within scope of practice and policy
- Document interventions, resident responses, and outcomes
- Provide resident and family education and support discharge planning
- Supervise, coach, counsel, and evaluate assigned CNA staff
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, filing, typing, and talking
- Must be able to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
