ER Nurse

- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Role Details
- Emergency Room nurse
- May float to MedSurg as needed
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work required
- Locals accepted
- RTO must be approved at time of submission; no post-offer RTO approvals
- Cannot take every holiday off
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- CPI
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS
- OB experience is a plus
Facility Notes
- Critical access facility
- Trauma level 4
- 25 staffed beds
Compliance / Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- CPI or an accepted equivalent
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- MMR immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccine or declination
- COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption form
- Professional references within 2 years of start
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: any colors or patterns preferred
