Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
- Job type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Schedule notes: Every other weekend; one 12-hour call shift per schedule; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Local candidates: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Work Expectations
- Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the assignment period, per stated holiday policy
- Maximum requested time off: 7 days
- First-time travelers are accepted
Onboarding / Pre-Start Requirements
- Photo ID
- Background check completed before start
- Education verification for related degree
- Work history verification
- 2 clinical references
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Physical exam documentation
- TB screening or chest x-ray documentation
- TB questionnaire
- Flu vaccine or declination
- Drug screen within 60 days of start
- Required immunization/documentation review for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
- Signed code of conduct and dress/professional appearance policy acknowledgment

- Clinical review is case-by-case before manager review
- Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
