RN Surgery

Overview

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 - 17:00
Additional call hours are required

Role Summary

Provides intra-operative nursing care using the nursing process
Core duties include circulating, instrumenting, first assisting, patient education, and resource nursing
Supports surgical cases across ENT, general surgery, orthopedics/spine, podiatry, dental/oral surgery, pain management, ophthalmology, urology, OB/Gynecology including C-sections, vascular, and bariatric procedures
Call expectation is approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period with a 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Operating Room experience within the last year
2 years of Operating Room experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS
ACLS
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
