Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job

Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Every other weekend required
Floating within scope and between like units is required
Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
Pass/Fail Testing acknowledgment required
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required
Flu vaccine or approved flu exemption during flu season
Tdap within the last 10 years
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year
Physical exam within 1 year
Drug screen within 30 days
Education verification related to specialty

Additional Considerations

Return travelers must be gone for 1 year before returning
Travelers may extend once; after 2 contracts, they must be gone for 6 months before returning
