Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience managing continuous IV cardiac medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips
Clinical Skills / Experience
- Arrhythmia management
- Cardioversion
- Cardiac CHF
- Chest pain
- Renal
- Pulmonary conditions including COPD and pulmonary edema
- PE and DVT
- Stable A-fib, SVT, and bradycardia
- Surgical overflow including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, chest tubes, and biliary drains
- Occasional vascular patients
- Post-cardiac cath care
- TR bands
- DKA
- Basic arrhythmia knowledge
Work Conditions
- Ratio: 1:5-6
- 32-bed unit
- Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
- Call is rare with a 2-hour response time
- Typically every other weekend
- Major holidays may be required based on assignment dates
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
- Navy blue scrubs

- Background check must be complete before start
- Photo ID required
- Education verification required
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Most recent employer verification required
- 2 clinical references required
- Negative TB screening or chest x-ray required
- TB questionnaire required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen required
- Physical exam required
- Flu vaccination or declination required
