Registered Nurse
Location
- Winston Salem, North Carolina
Contract
- Travel/contract assignment
- 13 weeks
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other med-surg units within the facility may be required
- No RTO after booking; additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancellation and do-not-return status
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of orthopedic work experience
- Ortho Trauma experience
- EPIC EHR experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- Charge nurse experience
- Level I trauma experience
Unit Details
- Orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patient population
- Fast-paced unit
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 5–6:1, with flexibility up to 7:1 in extreme cases
Additional Notes
- Block scheduling may be available
- Holiday RTO is not approved
