RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location
- Fort Madison, Iowa
Schedule
- Nights: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients.
- Traveler must self-study telemetry strips before start and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on the telemetry/med-surg unit.
- May be asked to float to another campus.
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- CPI/MOAB
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
