Electrophysiology Tech

Schedule
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Call required; no weekend call, but may need to stay past shift end when on call
Assignment Details
- 19-week contract
- Adults to geriatrics
- 2 rooms
- 8–12 patients per day
- Rare floating within facility and scope of practice
- 1st timers accepted
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (R) or CCI
- Georgia state license for CRTs and RRTs
Work Setting
- EP Lab
Additional Requirements
- Full compliance required before start
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off
- Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the contract period
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification required
- Photo ID required
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Most recent employer verification required
- 2 clinical references required
- Negative TB screening or chest x-ray required
- TB questionnaire required
- Drug screen required
- Flu vaccination or declination required
- Physical exam required
- Tdap is highly recommended
- Color blindness testing required
- Work history verification required
- Review and sign facility code of conduct and dress/professional appearance policy before start
Notes
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Epic and Pyxis are used in the unit
