Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- OR - Operating Room (4 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 4 years of Operating Room experience with General Surgery specialty
- 4 years of Operating Room experience with GYN specialty
- Neurology experience
- Transplant experience
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
- OB/GYN experience
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Weekend and call requirements will be discussed during interview
- Floating may include within facility/scope of practice and to outpatient as needed
- No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout dates: 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3
- Maximum RTO: 7 days
Compliance and Start Requirements
- Full compliance is required to start on time
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification of related degree is required
- Photo ID required
- Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
- Verification of most recent employer is required
- 2 clinical references required
- Color blind testing required
- Physical exam required
- Negative TB screening or chest x-ray required
- TB questionnaire required
- Drug screen required
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
Additional Notes
- Clinical screening will be used to determine fit before final manager review
- Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
