Operating Room RN
Overview
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Locals accepted: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- OR - Operating Room (4 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 4 years of Operating Room experience with General Surgery specialty
- 4 years of Operating Room experience with GYN specialty
- Neurology experience
- Transplant experience
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
- OB/GYN experience
Schedule / Assignment Details
- Weekend and call requirements will be discussed during interview
- Floating may include within the facility, within scope of practice, and to outpatient as needed
- No holiday time off will be approved during blackout dates: 11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3
- Maximum requested time off: 7 days
Compliance / Start Requirements
- Full compliance is required to start on time
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification is required and may be pending at start with proof it is in progress
- Photo ID is required
- Skills checklist within 12 months is required
- Verification of most recent employer is required and may be pending at start with proof it is in progress
- 2 clinical references are required
- Physical exam within 12 months of start is required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray is required
- TB questionnaire is required
- Drug screen is required
- Flu vaccination or declination is required
- Color blind testing is required

Additional Notes
- Candidate will be reviewed by clinical for fit before manager review
- Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
