RN Medical / Surgical/ Telemetry
Overview
- Location: West Burlington, Iowa
- Employment type: LTA
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Estimated work week: 36 hours, with the possibility of overtime
Role Summary
- This role is on the Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- The traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
- Patient populations include Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
- The traveler may be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus.
- The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS
- NIH Certification
- CPI/MOAB
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
