CVOR Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 23 weeks
Charge RN role with additional compensation
Weekend coverage: Friday through Sunday
Call required, typically one weekday call each week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks
Floating required within facility/scope of practice
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
CVOR (2 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Expectations

Travelers are expected to work all holidays not included in contracted time off
If major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work them according to the facility holiday policy

Compliance and Onboarding

Background check must be complete before start
Education verification required
Physical exam required within 12 months of start
TB clearance required
TB questionnaire required
Drug screen required
Flu vaccination or declination required
References required
Skills checklist required
Work history verification required

Notes

Clinical review is used to determine fit before final manager decision
Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
