Registered Nurse — Emergency Department
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- No call
- No float
- Every other weekend required
- No block scheduling
- RTO after booking is not allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Conscious Sedation
Preferred
- Trauma experience
- ENPC
Unit Details
- Adult emergency department with STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma patients
- Non-critical ratio: 3:1
- Critical patients ratio: 2:1
- Medical boarders in ED: 5:1
- Approximately 170 visits per day
- 53 rooms/beds
