RN Emergency Room
Overview
- 13-week travel assignment in Fort Madison, Iowa
- Day shift: 08:00 - 20:30
- Every other holiday rotation is required
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in
Role Summary
- Responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department
- Must triage safely, rapidly, and accurately
- Coordinates care with other professional disciplines as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIH Certification
- CPI/MOAB
- Basic dysrhythmia test out must be passed during orientation
- Self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance
- 2 professional references, including 1 from a supervisor
- Driver's License
