RN Emergency Room

Overview

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 14:00 - 02:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Every other holiday rotation is required.

Role Summary

The Emergency Room RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Responsible for safe, rapid, and accurate triage of every patient entering the emergency care system.
Coordinates care with other professional disciplines as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS
ACLS
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI/MOAB
Driver's License
2 professional references, including 1 from a supervisor
