Medical Surgical RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Marysville, Kansas
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Med Surg RN for CAH
- No 6 day block requests
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- State license, as applicable
- Primary source verification of state license
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- Government issued photo ID
- E-Verify attestation/proof
- 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- State exclusion list check
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
- Competency Exam
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
- Core Part I
- Core Part II
- Core Part III
- Initial physical and annual update
- Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, updated annually
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit, updated annually
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Access Hospital experience
Health and Compliance Notes
- Flu documentation is required for Aya clearance for new candidates starting during flu season, but it is not required for client clearance or to start/continue the assignment
- Scrubs may be any color during orientation and post-orientation; solid colors are preferred post-orientation
- If a candidate has worked with the company for over 1 year, an evaluation/internal evaluation must be on file and updated annually
